Within the approach of a recovery model, the women also receive Mental Health Case Management services. Staff tailor supports to individual need by linking clients to various community services including housing, financial management and trusteeship, employment and other essential needs. The program includes a satellite Addiction Case Management program located within walking distance of the main agency. This outreach program offers support using an individualized approach for women dealing with both mental health and substance abuse problems.
The program operates within the principles of both Abstinence and Harm Reduction when dealing with addiction issues. This alternative approach provides unique pre-treatment support to the women of 416 and other referred women dealing with chronic addictions that do not fit into conventional treatment program models.
